They stick out from the bottom and there is a large gap at the top because they were not made flush. Some of the pages were stuck together. I have never had this problem with past hardbacks from wizards of the coast. Very displeased with there quality control. Amazon service was fine, but I wonder if the person packing the box would have seen this early to stop it, which would have been nice but I hold the printer at fault more. This has been a common theme when ordering D&D books at amazon. No idea why, other books non-D&D books are fine. The dragonborn are great and some of the more unique dragon stat blocks are interesting, although I feel that 5e monsters continue to lack individuality and that spark that would help make the encounter feel unique to this creature.
